Members of the Rotaract Club of Mahebourg had the pleasure to attend a joint meeting with the Rotary Club of Mahebourg and Rotary Club of Saint-Pierre, on Tuesday 10th Oct at Shandrani Beachcomber Hotel & Spa.
The Rotary Club of Mahebourg received Turbine Incubator Ltd last Tuesday 10th Oct where the General Manager of Turbine, Mrs. Anne Laure Marchyllie and Rotaractor Pooja Raghoo, presented a panorama of entrepreneurship in Mauritius and Turbine services to enhance entrepreneurial capabilities and success rate of businesses.
Turbine is a non-profit organization founded by ENL group and supported by Stockholm leading Incubator STING.
Based at Vivéa Business Park, Moka, Turbine’s co-working space provides a dynamic and inspiring work environment for entrepreneurs that enhances their productivity and creativity.
With the vision to promote Mauritius as an international entrepreneurial hub and contribute widely to the growth and economic development of Mauritius and the Indian Ocean region, Turbine Incubator helps entrepreneurs with operational support, including weekly coaching and access to experts, network, co-working and investors.
Turbine also announced the launching of the 2017 Inspire program that will be held in November and December 2017 and has invited entrepreneurs and aspiring entrepreneurs to apply to the program which is a fast-track way to launch their business, thanks to educational workshops and hand-on delivered by STING expert coaches. A selection of 10 to 15 projects would benefit from this great value opportunity in Mauritius to get started with appropriate support.
It was an enriching experience for the Rotarians and Rotaractors to discuss and exchange on such an interesting topic with Turbine. Being entrepreneurs themselves through the support of social projects, Rotarians and Rotaractors felt very supportive of Turbine initiatives to help entrepreneurs to make ideas and projects turning into reality.
