With a clear perspective to become a successful civic and service club in the southern region, the Rotaract Club Mahebourg has laid down principles and strategies to guide decisions and inspire people over a long period of time that are focused on our core philosophy.
To aspire confidence into the young generation to become better leaders and professional tomorrow.
To embrace cultural diversity, equal opportunity, and ethical standards.
To unite different communities and members around one of our causes through service or project.
To think forward for a sustainable impact of the club actions and projects.
Guided by our core philosophy, we are responsible for creating sustainable opportunities, which ensures community engagement and development. Since Rotaract Club Mahebourg is a membership-based nonprofit organization of young active citizens ages 18 to 35, we will target and ensure that members are engaged and committed to creating impact in their communities.
By the end of 2020, Rotaract Club Mahebourg envisions to have active members investing in the future of their community. They will have developed and acquired the skills, knowledge, and understanding to make informed decisions and take actions. The club will target to form members from all sectors of society; Business owners, Government officials, Doctors, Entrepreneurs, Teachers, Public officials, Social workers, and Students.
The very purpose of this strategic statement is to commit our members into creating positive change which is not just focused on charity or service to the community but also on sustainable development. We will encourage members to take responsibility for local issues and find targeted, sustainable solutions that benefit our communities and the world. Solutions to these challenges can only be reached through collective action by involving all sectors of society. Solutions that ensure healthy communities, drive economic empowerment and secure a sustainable world.
